We have a used Quartermaster 7-1/4" Optimum 3 Disc 26 Spline Clutch & Flywheel From a Dodge R5 P7 NASCAR Engine. The discs all measure 102 and bigger. The triple disc clutch setup sells new for $865.00. Unlike the older style Quartermasters these do not have the loud rattle and chatter. They have more of a very faint rattle about 1/3 the noise of the older style Quartermasters. This new style is not as harsh on first gear engagement. The older style takes a good amount of getting used to especially to the first time triple disc owner. High RPM shifting has also improved. There is a noticeable difference when shifting in the high rpms as opposed to the older style QM's. Friction Material- One of Quartermaster goals was to make a friction material that will last longer and boy did they. It lasted about 1/3 longer than the older style QM's. Also a huge reduction in clutch dust build up in the bell housing which can build up on the hydraulic release bearing causing the bearing not to slide freely. A problem we noticed with the older style QM's was that the floaters would wear into the legs of the clutch cover especially on higher horsepower cars. Once that happens you will have shifting and lock out problems due to the clutch not disengaging properly due the the floaters getting caught up on the cover. Problem solved with the new QM race version clutch. It weighs 17.8 pounds. Keep in mind ebay now charges sellers a final value fee on every item for shipping. We now end up only getting around 70% of the item now. I think this is wrong that ebay does this. Ebay makes the rules, not sellers. We have tried to keep shipping costs low but ebay is making that impossible. We want to at least break even on the shipping. Here is a prime example of our bill:

The Institute Superieur de Design (ISD) isn't as well-known as Strate or Creapole in Paris, nevertheless it has a growing reputation as one of the most focused design schools in Europe with an enviable record of internships and employment of its graduates. Last month CDN was invited to join the final assessments of this year's graduate cohort.

Land Rover today confirmed its first hybrid models will be launched in 2013. The new Range_e is a showcase for the company's diesel-electric hybrid tech in a current Range Rover Sport bodyshell. Tests will start in late 2010 with a small fleet of five hybrids - but bosses have set a 2013 production date, coinciding with the launch of the large family of Land Rovers.

Famed car designer Carroll Shelby received the 2011 Keith Crain/Automotive News Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday evening during the Washington auto show. The award is given annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the auto industry. "I accept this award with all of the humility a person could have," Shelby said.
