Quadra Jet Rochester 4 barrel  carburetor with electric choke, flows 750 to 795 CFM. This is the electronic feedback model, used on many Buick, Chevy, Pontiac, Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles, cars and trucks.( you're responsible to verify this part fits you're application). This carburetor automatically adjusts to altitude. The fuel-gas ratio is determined by the computer ( E.C.M.). To tell if this carburetor will fit your intake manifold, measure your bolt pattern.  An adapter is available at your local auto parts stores to make most any carburetor fit any intake. They cost around $20.00. This pattern is  4 and 1/4" across from center of hole to center and 5 and 5/8" from front to back.           Priced to sell, not junk---
I took this unit off my El Camino to install a G.M. fuel injection unit. I had removed the original air injection unit, and the car would not pass the physical inspection--even though it flew past the particulate test. The car was running great when I removed this carburetor. I also have the E.C.M. if interested--$5.00.  I will most likely ship UPS, and if the shipping cost more, I'll pay the difference, less I will refund.

Mercedes SLS Gullwing – images and news

Mon, 02 Mar 2009

No, the Mercedes Benz SLS Gullwing (which we all thought was going to be called the Mercedes SLC – but we were wrong!) is not showing at Geneva 2009. But that hasn’t stopped Mercedes from doing a bit of a spoiler for the show on the day before press day by releasing testing images of a disguised car, together with some solid information, instead of all the speculation we’ve been indulging in. Mercedes Benz SLS AMG in a UK Car showroom near you - but not until 2010!

Help American Dreaming movie tell the story of the postwar era's car designers [w/video]

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

The makers of a new movie charting America's postwar car designers are seeking donations to make the project become reality. The film's makers are hoping to raise $100,000 to make American Dreaming, a documentary movie that aims to tell the story of the lives of the men and women who worked in automotive design between 1948 and 1973. The film will be produced by Detroit artist Robert Edwards, former Detroiter Greg Salustro, and cinematographer Jim Toscano, and will include interviews with the men and women who worked in automotive design studios at the time.

Aston Martin Virage (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Wed, 23 Feb 2011

This is the new Aston Martin Virage, a V12-engined GT to sit halfway between the DB9 and the DBS. It will be officially unveiled to the public, along with the Aston Martin Vantage S, at the 2011 Geneva motor show next week. Numbers are easy to understand, so let’s start with the figures produced by the 6.0-litre V12 shared between the trio: the DB9 has 470bhp and 442lb ft, the DBS 510bhp and 420lb ft, and the Virage sits neatly between the two with 490bhp and 420lb ft.
