Race Technology Dash2 and Video4 system, image 1
Condition:Used

This is a combo of a Race Technology Dash2 and a Video4 system.

It includes the dash, the video recorder, two cameras, and a oil pressure sensor. The system was in a 944 race car that I took apart. It used the coolant temp sender from the car rather than a dedicated sensor.

It is also GPS based as well and has a 6 light progressive shift light.

Here is some information about the two units from Race Technology.

I never had the system working in my car, so I will not be any help hooking it up, but it seems to be pretty straight forward.

Mon, 20 Feb 2012

The Fiat 500 pays tribute to Maserati Fiat is launching a new special edition 500 at the Geneva Motor Show – the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati – a convertible Abarth 500. Almost three years ago Fiat produced a limited edition Abarth 500 that paid tribute to Ferrari – the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari – which cam with decent oomph, a bright red Ferrari paint job and an eye-watering price tag of £30k. Now Fiat feel it’s time to pay tribute to another marque in its portfolio – and relieve punters of a further slice of hard-earned – with the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati – this time a soft-top – arriving at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The carmaker is remaining fairly tight-lipped about the concept, although it has released this artful render. Honda also says the FCEV concept previews a potential design direction for its next-generation fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) launching in the U.S and Japan in 2015 and later in Europe.

Prodive’s David Richards looks at Honda F1

Sat, 27 Dec 2008

It was a real surprise that Honda decided to pull out of F1 for 2009. True, they haven’t yet seen the sort of success that their efforts, and money, should have yielded, but they have a superb product and, more importantly, potentially one of the best set-ups in F1 led by the best of the best, Ross Braun, who was pretty much responsible for the renaissance at Ferrari and Michael Shumacher’s domination of the sport. But there could well be a light at the end of the tunnel for the Honda F1 Team.
