The Mini Input Module (RLVBMIM01) is a general purpose input/output module designed for use by either the VBOX Mini or existing VBOX products.The Mini Input Module allows data such as temperature, RPM, wheel speed, fuel flow, throttle angles and pedal forces to be easily measured along with the VBOX GPS data.The module can accept 8 analogue inputs, 2 digital inputs, an additional digital state input for use as an event marker, and 2 K-type thermocouple inputs.When used in conjunction with a VBOX Mini, the Mini Input Module can also output one digital and one analogue signal. Connections are via a removable screw terminal

'Every transport link' now in Google Maps

TECHNOLOGY giant Google has updated its official Maps app to include every transport link in Great Britain for the first time. The app has, until now, covered London and some areas of south-east England in terms of transport links, but this new update expands to the rest of the country as well as Scotland and Wales; including every bus, tram, train and ferry route available. David Tattersall, product manager for public transport in Google Maps, said: "This is the single largest and most comprehensive update we've ever done to our public transport coverage anywhere in the world, so it's something we're really proud of.

This is the BMW i3 Concept, a near-production preview of Munich’s new urban vehicle. Previously known as the Megacity Vehicle (MCV), it’s an all-electric carbonfibre and aluminium car that BMW will sell from 2013 as part of its new ‘i’ range – the i8 supercar has also been unveiled today. Both the BMW i3 and i8 concepts will be revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September.
