The RaceQuip 110 series single-layer suit is made from Pyrovatex® FRC material. Pyrovatex® offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability and comfort for the price. This FRCmaterial retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® treatment is absorbed into the cotton fibers at the molecular level, with proper care; the garment will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment.

All suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. All suits feature a high quality, heavy-duty two-way YKK zipper built on FR tape installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes. The black accents: high-back collar, leg and arm cuffs, epaulets and beltline give the suits a unique look and style. Add to this the pleated back panel for freedom of movement, deep bag pockets and the adjustable euro-style belt, and you have a single layer suit that provides an outstanding value. Exceeds SFI 3.2A/1 specs with a TPP rating of 11.

Mercedes GLA goes in to production in Germany

Sat, 07 Dec 2013

The Mercedes GLA (pictured) goes in to production The new Mercedes GLA – Mercedes’ latest spin-off from the A Class – arrived at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September as an urban SUV come Crossover, extending Mercedes reach in the premium compact sector with a serious competitor in the urban SUV market. With the growing fondness for high-riding cars – and something that’s a bit butch too – the SUV/Crossover take on the Mercedes A Class is a sound way to go and now, with production starting in Germany this week of the new GLA, Mercedes is getting close to having the GLA in customers’ hands. The first GLAs to get in to the hands of customers will probably be the GLA Edition 1 – a launch model with plenty of toys – but the model that will perhaps be most interesting is the GLA 45 AMG, with the promise of the same rufty-tufty compact SUV goodness as the rest of the range but with the 4WD platform and high performance 2.0 litre Turbo from the A 45 AMG.

Is this the 2013 Audi TT?

Thu, 22 Dec 2011

Is this the 2013 Audi TT behind Wolfgang Egger's shoulder A photo released by Audi with the announcement that Wolfgang Egger is the new Head of Audi Brand Design seems to show the 2013 Audi TT. It’s not all that unusual for a picture revealed by a car maker to have a hidden Easter Egg; something that’s only there if you look hard. And the guys over at Audi News Blog think they may have found a hidden gem in a photo Audi has released of Wolfgang Egger – the new 2013 Audi TT lurking in the background.

The Royal College of Art's annual post graduate degree show had a new name and a new venue this year. Held for the first time in a large pavilion tent in Kensington Gardens, directly opposite the main Royal College of Art building, 'The Great Exhibition' commemorates the 150th birthday of the South Kensington cultural and educational institutions. Car Design News caught up with a few of the 18 Vehicle Design graduates at a private viewing on June 14th.
