Ford F-150 gets upgrades for 2012
Thu, 29 Sep 2011A 36-gallon fuel tank leads the changes on the 2012 Ford F-150 pickup, which makes for a range of 756 bladder-busting miles without filling up. The FX trim gets a new appearance package, and the availability of a locking rear axle is expanded. The engine lineup is unchanged from that of the 2011 model, with six-speed automatic transmissions as standard equipment.
Lexus LF-LC Blue concept unveiled in Australia
Fri, 19 Oct 2012Lexus has unveiled a new take on the LF-LC concept—dubbed the LF-LC Blue—at the Australian motor show. The LF-LC Blue builds on the dramatic LF-LC coupe concept that debuted at the 2012 Detroit auto show, featuring the same wildly sculpted aluminum and carbon-fiber body. Lexus is calling concept's color Opal blue, a reference to the iridescent gemstones found in Australia.

Father Christmas’s go-anywhere 4x4 delivery wagon was sketched out exclusively for CAR Online – as part of our Christmas 2009 special feature.Submitted by Oliver Le Grice, Land Rover’s chief designer of advanced design, and designed by Florian Dobe, the Land Rover sledge is designed to deliver presents to all corners of the Earth. The Midlands design HQ has helpfully attached a spec sheet, letting us know this Land Rover has height adjustable suspension (presumably controlled by the brand’s Terrain Response controller) and a hitherto top-secret powertrain option: a particle accelerator.
