BMW pushes back the U.S. debut of the X1 until the end of 2012
Mon, 02 May 2011BMW will not offer its compact X1 crossover in the United States until the end of 2012 because of strong demand for the redesigned version of the larger X3. A number of cars had reportedly followed the tow truck that was transporting the wreckage to a police facility. When the truck stopped at a red light, the occupant of one of the vehicles, alleged to be 18-year-old Jameson Witty, ran up to the truck and retrieved a piece of the wreckage, a T-top roof panel of the red Carrera GT, He later posted a photo of it on Instagram.
Cop saves life of choking driver
Thu, 14 Aug 2014A US POLICE officer saved a motorist in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who was choking after stopping her for driving through a red light. Officer Jason Gates realised the woman could not breathe when he approached her vehicle, so he hit her on the back to try to clear her airway. When that did not work, he performed the Heimlich manoeuvre which dislodged a piece of sausage and bread from her throat.
