Good day.
For sale set of Russian rallye wheel. They were produced locally for Russian rallye team.
Famous Compomotive pattern was taken as shape. Unlike Compomotive these are Mg. From the same alloy chassis for planes and helicopters cast.
80% Mg, 8,0% Al, 2,0% add.
The wheels are light (5,3kg), very durable, very efficient heat transfer, made according to the high standards of military sphere!.
The factory sold production in 2006 and shortly the production stopped completely because of abundance of military projects hence no need in by product).
For those who wish learn more. In 90s when the Russian economy suffered decline many military works turned to civilian spheres. So, many goods from Ti, Mg, Al appeared for household use. Some factories produced forged Al wheels, two factories produced cast Mg wheels, one small private entity produced forged Mg wheels as well as spades of Ti and other demanded goods). With the development of domestic economy all factories eliminated non major assets and the business lines.
You are kindly welcome to have part of Russian military technology on your unique vehicle.
I have sold two sets to USA, if you need feedback i give you the buyer id (they allowed me to) and you ask them about wheel.
Shipment either by post (some USD 40 x 2) of EMS (USD 180).
Please note, the wheel have some paint defect, but are powder coated in factory.
The wheel have Al shaft pressed to avoid bolt contact with them!.
The wheel will NOT fit Subaru 4 pot brake.
The wheel should be taken care while the Winter uses because of the active material nature, if in your city the ice melted by salt reagent you need to avoid material oxidate.
Please do not ask me questions regarding the wheel preformance as i am not sure what are you to do with!.They were driven by almost all Russian and CIS racers of 90 and 00. But any wheel can be broken. They have passed the certification procedure for racing uses, both gravel and tarmac here.
You can google ML5 alloy for all information. All other questions mail me. Thank you...

Sat, 11 May 2013

The Pikes Peak hillclimb is an awesome event with more than 150 turns on a course more than 12 miles long running up in to the clouds at the summit of Pikes Peak Mountain. This year Peugeot are back to take on Pikes Peak in a car they like to describe as a Peugeot 208, but apart from the name it has nothing much more than a passing resemblance to Peugeot’s latest hatchback. For a start, it has a 3.2 litre twin-turbo V6 that delivers an incredible 875bhp which is enough to get to 62mph in a neck snapping 1.8 seconds and 150mph in an equally unbelievable 7 seconds.
