Features
Rear Camber Kit is a must-have for enthusiasts looking to fine-tune their suspension or correct negative camber introduced from lowered ride heights. With the ability to adjust both positive and negative camber, enthusiasts can reduce abnormal tire wear and significantly improve handling and overall stability. Each Rear Camber Kit is constructed of forged alloy steel, plated for exceptional corrosion resistance, and aircraft quality, 7075 aluminum. Each kit includes  industry-leading, low-deflection polyurethane bushings that act as bearings to allow for smooth pivoting without the harsh side effects of spherical bearings. Unlike steel and rubber bushings found in lesser quality camber kits,  polyurethane bushings won’t tear or break free.

Ford's forgotten T-Drive program

Mon, 29 Oct 2012

Digital boss Andy Stoy recently passed along this little piece of nearly forgotten Ford history from the early 1990s. We know that our girl Murilee Martin dug this up way back in 2010, but the wonder of the Ford T-Drive system is worth revisiting. According to Drivingenthusiast.com, “T-drive is a system consisting of a transversally located inline engine, a transmission and associated packaging.” The transmission is mounted to the side of the engine, or the back, depending on how you look at things.

CCS receives $2.5m GM Grant

Tue, 28 Jun 2011

General Motors is set to strengthen its longstanding commitment to Detroit's College for Creative Studies with a $2.5 million donation, a contribution that will help the university undertake a $145 million redevelopment of its A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. This is not the first time that GM has given to CCS – the ongoing relationship between them sees members of the GM design team teach and mentor students, while CCS also receives loans of industrial equipment from its Detroit neighbor.

Top Gear to do ‘Economy’

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

Don’t think for a minute that we’re going to lose the supercar stunts we know and love, and see them replaced by the charms of a Kia Cee’d economy run, but Top Gear, in common with the rest of the Beeb, is having its budget cut – apparently. Andy Wilman, who is the brains behind TG (and its producer) together with Jeremy Clarkson, has been bemoaning the budget cuts planned for the show on the TG website. He said: ‘No point in moaning about that.
