This diesel fuel/water separator filter is clean, the gaskets are good, the paint needs a little attention and the hose fittings are too small for the rated maximum flow (3.16 gallons/min or 12 l/min). It does not have a filter but these are readily available and inexpensive (2020SM under $15). We will ship for free in the continental US. List price for a new filter is $460.

A VINTAGE 1950s Volkswagen Beetle owned by a pensioner will go under the hammer at an auction later this month. The classic car, which has picked up a number of awards, is expected to fetch around £9,000 when it appears alongside a selection of rare art and antiques in the McTear's Collectables sale in Glasgow on September 29. The 1953 Beetle, which is a 1200 Deluxe model, has been in the hands of 72-year-old Willie Black since 1966, the same year that VW gave it the Best Beetle in Britain accolade.

Ferrari revealed the California T on Wednesday, its next-generation front-engine convertible, prior to March's Geneva motor show debut. The company teased the vehicle last week. Details are scarce right now, but Ferrari says the T again has a retractable hardtop (it lowers in 14 seconds), boasts a new turbocharged V8 making 552 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque—Ferrari hasn't had a turbocharged production car since the legendary F40.
