A14 to become world’s first wifi road?
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Around 70 miles of the A14 between Cambridge and Felixstowe is to become a ‘smart road’ fitted with sensors that monitor traffic movement. These sensors will generate highly accurate information about the level of traffic congestion, which is then wirelessly transmitted to a central control system in order to automatically adjust the variable speed limit. Mon, 21 Dec 2009PSA Peugeot Citroen has announced the appointment of Gilles Vidal to Design Director for Peugeot and Thierry Metroz to fill the Design Director position at Citroën. Both Vidal and Metroz will report to PSA Group Design Director Jean-Pierre Ploué when they start their new roles on January 4, 2010. The Design Director positions at both Peugeot and Citroen have effectively been left vacant since Jean-Pierre Ploue was promoted to lead the Group's design efforts in October 2008.
