According to Bob: How GM cars got better
Mon, 23 May 2011Even before he rode into General Motors as the product-development savior in 2001, Bob Lutz found himself being recruited for plots to take over the company. There was Heinz Prechter, the ASC sunroof king who proposed that Lutz and ex-Chrysler executive Steve Miller join with him as a pre-assembled management team to buy shares and get the board to clean out management. Jaguar Land Rover strong September sales thanks to Evoque & XF 2.2
Sat, 08 Oct 2011JLR Sales up in September thanks to XF 2.2 & Evoque We’ve had cause to take Jaguar Land Rover (well, Jaguar) to task lately for disappointing sales, particularly in the US and the UK. So it seems only fair, after dishing out disapprobation, that we should balance that with a story about a decent set of sales figures for JLR in September, especially in the face of weakening sales from other manufacturers in the UK. Unsurprisingly – although how long it will last is debatable – China was the strongest performer for Jaguar, certainly in percentage terms, with a rise of 156 per cent for Jaguar and 85 per cent for Land Rover and year on year figures up 60 per cent.
Peugeot 508 Estate (SW) ‘AllRoad’ Spied

It looks like Peugeot are intending having a crack at Audi and their Allroad A6 if the spy photo we grabbed is anything to go by. But if this is 4WD – and it almost certainly is – what sort of 4WD is it running?
