  • Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series planned?

    Sat, 26 Sep 2009

It looks like Mercedes could be planning a 700bhp Black Series version of the SLS AMG Gullwing Currently, the top of the AMG Black Series tree is the SL65 Black. It loses the one thing that makes the SL special – the trick roof – and replaces it with a wave of power that isn’t actually that easy to put down on the road.

AW survey: Honda Element won't be missed

Range Rover Evoque Sport to get new 3.0L V6 Supercharged

    Fri, 29 Jun 2012

Reports suggest that Land Rover will bolt the new Jaguar 3.0L V6 Supercharged in the Evoque to create the Range Rover Evoque Sport. We’ve been mulling the probability of a Range Rover Evoque Sport since last year when we asked whether the inevitable Sport version of the Evoque would come with a turned-up Ecoboost lump or whether it would get the new Supercharged V6 Jaguar are putting in their cars. Last month we looked at the Evoque Sport again after it was revealed that Land Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern has been driving round in an Evoque with an EcoBoost engine running at around 300bhp, suggesting the Ecoboost was perhaps the favoured option.
