INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:
  • DELIVERY TIMES are estimates - if not outright wild guesses -  from Ebay and the carriers only and are NOT guaranteed.  Our experience is that standard Priority Mail shipments to Canada, Australia and most of Europe generally arrive in a week or two but there are exceptions.  Some regions can take three weeks to a couple of months; see below for specific trouble spots.  PLEASE ALLOW ADEQUATE TIME FOR YOUR SHIPMENT TO ARRIVE.
  • CUSTOMS PROCESSING may cause additional delays; we have no control over this and are not responsible for the consequences.
  • CUSTOMS, DUTY, VAT & OTHER charges may be imposed by the destination country; these costs are typically collected by the carrier at the time of delivery and are the responsibility of the purchaser.  We have no control over this either; please check with your local authorities FIRST if you have questions.
  • WE CANNOT mark shipments as gifts or reduce stated values for customs purposes.
  • CUSTOMERS IN CHILE, ARGENTINA, BRAZIL & SOME PARTS OF ASIA:  USPS Priority Mail to these regions can take as long as two to three months due to customs processing and the mail systems in these areas, and tracking data can be spotty once the shipment leaves the US.   It doesn't happen every time, but it does happen more than it should.   We have no control over this.  We HIGHLY recommend USPS Express Mail in these cases as it generally takes no longer than three weeks even under the worst of circumstances.
  • SELECTING ANYTHING OTHER THAN USPS EXPRESS MAIL OR EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING TELLS US AND EBAY THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE POTENTIAL FOR THESE DELAYS AND AGREE TO WAIT.

Brawn GP wins diffuser row

Wed, 15 Apr 2009

Brawn GP wins the verdict at the FIA hearing on the F1 diffuser row [ad#ad-1] Well, Ross Brawn said from the start that the rear diffuser on the Brawn GP car was legal. The man knows his stuff, and has the ability to interpret the regulations to suit his cause, and the FIA has today ruled that he’s right. So Brawn and Jenson Button’s wins stand, the cars are legalĀ  (as are those of Williams and Toyota) and the rest of the F1 teams are going to have to play catch-up very quickly if they’re going to have a chance this year.

Car collector and artist makes you look twice

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

As with most artists, Louis Carvell simply sees the world differently than others, and his passion for cars and car collecting led him to create a thought-provoking (and clever) body of work he entitled: “Reincarnations: Car Parts ReBorn.” The photographic collages are of spare vintage-automobile parts inspired by, “the dream cars of the Eisenhower era,” Carvell said. “These pieces are art in and of itself. Initially, I photographed them [alone] against white, seamless.” Eventually, Carvell decided to expand and refine his concept and place the parts into surrealist tableaux, to give one pause to consider these objects outside their defined roles.

Range Rover Sport SVR prototype: official spy photos issued

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 25 June 2014 10:33 Land Rover has taken the unusual step of issuing its own spy photos of the new Range Rover Sport SVR - a muscled-up, 543bhp version that's been breathed on by Jaguar Land Rover's new Special Ops division. A new Range Rover Sport SVR prototype will be thrashed up the Goodwood hillclimb at this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed and these photos are the first conclusive proof that the Range Rover Sport SVR will join the line-up later in 2014. The SVR name is the first confirmation of a go-faster badge for future fast Land Rovers.
