This is an NOS (New Old Stock) Right Front Door Lock Assembly, Rambler/AMC Part Number 3461414. According to the Rambler/AMC Parts Manual, this item fits 1962 Rambler Classic and Ambassador Models Without The Vacuum Door Lock Option. It cannot be seen in the picture, but the item has manufacturing and shelf handling scratches, marks and some light to some moderate shelf corrosion on its' metal surfaces. The lock assembly will also have to be cleaned and lubricated before installation onto the vehicle. The lock assembly is still in usable condition. Toyota wins unintended-acceleration case
Fri, 01 Apr 2011Toyota secured a legal victory on Friday against the landslide of unintended-acceleration claims that have dogged the company for more than a year. A jury in New York found in favor of Toyota, rejecting claims of a driver who said a floor mat was the cause of his 2005 crash in a Scion tC. The jury took 45 minutes to reach the verdict after a weeklong trial in federal court.
