Range Rover Evoque rally car: the Desert Warrior 3
Thu, 08 Nov 2012It was only a matter of time before someone took the slammed and attitudinal Range Rover Evoque and turned it into a rally raid vehicle capable of competing in the Dakar. The new Desert Warrior 3 is the result: a rally racer powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-litre diesel, tuned to produce between 275-300bhp depending on event restrictions, and a whole host of serious off-roading equipment to transform this from road to race car. Nissan Juke Nismo: Paris 2012
Thu, 27 Sep 2012Nissan has kicked off its Nismo road car range with the reveal of the production Juke Nismo at the Paris Motor Show. The Juke Nismo get the same 1.6 litre petrol engine as the Juke DIG-T model, but it’s been fettled to offer more than the stock engine’s 187bhp. Trouble is, even though its due on sale in the UK in a few months, Nissan still isn’t saying exactly what the Juke Nismo gets – but it should be around 200bhp.
Lexus prices the CT 200h at $29,995
Wed, 15 Dec 2010Lexus Division said today it will price its entry-luxury CT 200h hybrid hatchback at $29,995, including destination charges, when it goes on sale in March. The CT 200h uses a version of the powertrain used in the Toyota Prius, and rides on the same platform as the more expensive Lexus HS 250h sedan. Lexus claims the vehicle will get 42 mpg in the combined driving cycle.
