This is the new coolfoot product, an EVA foam pad for the MinnKota Maxxum, Maxxum Pro and All Terrain trolling motor pedals as seen on Ultimate Match Fishing. The coolfoot gives the user coolness, comfort and traction. The coolfoot was designed after years of "hot foot" while fishing barefoot in the summer months but whether you fish barefoot in the summer, or wear insulated boots all winter long, the coolfoot offers the comfort and traction of the 5mm grooved foam. The matching Hotpadoffers the same advantages of the coolfoot and fits your Hotfoot throttle. Please note that this combo has the Minn Kota round switch coolfoot, if your pedal has the newer almond or half-moon shaped switch, please go to www.coolfoot.biz for examples of what we call the MK'08 coolfoot. 2013 Chevy, GMC trucks recalled for roll-away risk
Fri, 04 Jan 2013General Motors is recalling 69,000 2013 full-size trucks and vans that could shift out of “park” and roll away. The recall impacts the Cadillac Escalade; the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado HD and LD, and Suburban and Tahoe; and the GMC Savana, Sierra HD and LD, and Yukon and Yukon XL. The trucks may have been built with a fractured park-lock cable, or a deformed steering-column lock-actuator gear in the lock-module assembly.
Toyota paid $10 million to settle unintended acceleration lawsuit
Fri, 24 Dec 2010Toyota Motor Corp. agreed to pay $10 million to settle a lawsuit with the families of four people who were killed in an accident that led to the automaker’s recall of millions of vehicles over unintended acceleration concerns. The settlement was reached in September, but the amount was not made public at the time after both Toyota and the plaintiffs agreed to keep the deal confidential.
