Up for auction here is a Very Rare set of emblems from a old Maple Leaf Truck. I can't quite remember what year they are correct for, but think it may have been late 1940's. Please research your application before bidding. They are in overall good used condition, for parts that are 60+years old. Mounting Legs intact, will need a good cleaning & polishing to be nice. Some Pitting. There is some yellow paint on them to be removed, but it flakes off fairly easily. Lots of photos to show actual condition. Included in this auction is 1 "Maple Leaf" Emblem, and 1 "1700" emblem, removed from the same truck... Any questions, please ask. Sat, 26 May 2012Dany Bahar, Lotus boss, suspended from his job Controversial Lotus boss Dany Bahar has been suspended from Lotus pending an enquiry in to his conduct. Since ex-Ferrari man Dany Bahar arrived at Lotus it’s all turned in to a bit of a soap opera. From announcing the creation of six new Lotus cars and plans to turn Lotus in to an East Anglian cross between Ferrari and Aston Martin, to the completely bizarre Lotus PR meltdown rant we saw recently, it’s not been quiet in Hethel since Dany Bahar arrived.
Mini reveals John Cooper Works Concept at Detroit auto show
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Today at the Detroit Auto Show Mini debuted the new 2014 John Cooper Works Concept. The JCW (as the cool people call it) is the performance version of the Mini, and the debut of the concept included a rock band and impressive amount of smoke courtesy of a fog machine. The JCW concept was decked out in traditional John Cooper Works style, and that meant an exclusive color scheme with red color accents over Bright Highways Grey paint, and 18-inch light alloy wheels.

And now, it has a little addition – stickers on all its cars from the Swedish bailiff saying Utmätt Gods - sequestered for debt.
