Up for auction is this RARE VINTAGE DIETZGEN MODEL 6060 SURVEYORS TRANSIT IN ITS ORIGINAL WOOD BOX from the 1940's/50's era. There was no record of this model number when I googled it. Its marked "PROPERTY U.S. GOVERNMENT" ON THE COMPASS BELOW THE SIGHT. Its in great original physical condition with some wear to the paint, nothing serious. There are two windows on the sides that show the orientation of the transit that have plastic flip up covers-both covers are cracked, but they did a great job of protecting the glass over the marked scale-see photos. The optics front and back are clear, however the small lens inside the eyepiece at the far end is a little cloudy-see photos. All the levels are still nice and they work. Its a great one for display. Take advantage of our no reserve auction and don't let this one get away!

VW Golf R Cabriolet Concept (2011) arrives at Worthersee

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

VW Group's slow reveal of one-off concept cars continues at the Worthersee Tour on the shore of Lake Worthersee in Austria. This time it's parent brand VW, who have released details on its Golf R Cabriolet concept. VW Golf R Cabriolet Concept: the top-down Rather than inject its supermini with 496bhp steroids or decapitate its rally car, volkswagen has decided to blend two of its most recent Golf variants, merging the Golf Cabriolet's roofless bodyshell with the Golf R's four-wheel-drive powertrain.

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

The new Mercedes C-Class Estate (pictured) costs from £28,055 The second variant of the new C-Class – the 2015 Mercedes C-Class Estate – was revealed last month offering proper load-lugging abilities together with the C-Class’s mini S-Class goodness. Now, with the new C-Class Estate due to arrive in the UK in September, Mercedes has revealed prices and specs for the initial launch range. Just three versions will be available at launch – the C 200, C 220 BlueTec and C 250 BlueTec – with the C 220 and C 250 sharing different power versions of Mercedes’ 2.1 litre diesel and the C 200 getting the 2.0 litre petrol.

SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concept Heading for Worthersee

Wed, 21 May 2014

The SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concept (pictured) is heading for Worthersee Some cars that head for the Worthersee Show look like they could be heading for production, but the SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concept isn’t really one of them. SEAT has built the Cupster Concept as a celebration of thirty years of the Ibiza range and it comes without a roof but with a steeply raked windscreen and wraparound glass, big buttresses where the back seats would usually be (there are no back seats) and a boot mounted spoiler. SEAT are promising more details before Worthersee, but it seems reasonable to assume that the Cupster has the regular Ibiza Cupra under its skin complete with the 178bhp 1.4 litre TSI engine.
