We recently purchased a large lot of vintage cloth patches from the 50's - 60's era and tonight we are putting up for auction A RARE AND ALL ORIGINAL 1950's - 1960's " RAMBLER " MECHANICS PATCH......

This 2 color embroidered patch is like a heavy blue cheesecloth, and shows great graphics of the famous RAMBLER SCRIPT LOGO embroidered in white script and has no border or glue on the back like todays mass produced patches.......       If you look closely you can see a blue thread outline, where it was once sewn onto a uniform, and the patch measures 3" .....This Rambler patch would look great in any automotive collection, or could be sewn on the coveralls of your favorite Rambler mechanic........

The winning bidder will pay no shipping within the lower 48 states......Overseas and out of the country shipping will be determined by location...

Please note Ebay no longer allows sellers to offer other forms of payment other than PayPal in their listings. However, Ebay states in an Ebay FAQ response, that “A seller can accept check and m.o. payment from a buyer if (and only if) the buyer requests it.” We support Ebay's position on this matter and agree to work with our customers accordingly……

Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival is full

Fri, 26 Mar 2010

Steve Earle, the granddaddy of vintage racing in America, has picked 375 historic race cars to fill the field at his Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival, June 5-6 at Infineon Raceway in California's wine country. "The cars are the stars," said Earle. "And when they aren't racing, they are easily accessible in this area for the fans for that up-close and personal experience of inspecting engines, talking with owners or otherwise learning more about the sport and the restoration and maintenance of vintage cars." Earle said the event will continue the tradition of the Monterey Historic Automobile Races, which he founded 37 years ago.

Saab 9-4X Revealed

Mon, 18 Oct 2010

Saab 9-4X Revealed It’s nice to see that Saab are getting back to being a maker of cars rather than a pawn of GM, and the reveal this afternoon of the Saab 9-4X marks the second new model in 2010 for Saab, even though both the Saab 9-5 and the Saab 9-4X have been on the horizon for what seems like forever. And, of course, after years (buried) under the GM umbrella  Saab’s products are going to be GM based, at least for now. So what we have with the Saab 904X is a Saab-ised Cadillac SRX, but that’s not too bad a thing.

Pontiac will be shrunk "significantly," a senior GM executive told the Automotive News World Congress. GM COO Fritz Henderson said that GM is conducting a strategic review of its Saab and Hummer brands and that the "status quo" for the Saturn brand will not work.
