Condition:Used Warranty:No Placement on Vehicle:Front Part Brand:FOMOCO Manufacturer Part Number:C6

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1966 FORD MUSTANG GLOVE BOX DOOR THAT WILL FIT ANY 1964, 1965 OR 1966 MUSTANG OR SHELBY GT350. IT HAS BEEN FITTED WITH AN 8 DAY WIND UP CLOCK THAT ALSO HAS AN ELAPSED TIME FUNCTION (GREAT FOR THOSE RALLY RUNS). THE DOOR HAS SOME PITTING IN THE CHROME - SEE PHOTOS, BUT STILL HOLDS A NICE SHINE. THE CLOCK FUNCTIONS WELL (GAINS ABOUT A MINUTE PER DAY WHEN I TESTED IT) AND THE ELAPSED TIME FUNCTIONS AS IT SHOULD. THIS IS A RARE PIECE - I HAVE ONLY SEEN ONE  AND THAT WAS ON A SHELBY GT350 - IT WAS CLAIMED THAT IT CAME FROM SHELBY / AMERICAN THAT WAY IN 1966 - I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANY PROOF TO THAT CLAIM. HOWEVER THIS RARE PIECE WOULD LOOK GREAT ON YOUR MUSTANG AND SHOULD BE THE TALK OF ANY SHOW. PERHAPS FORD OR SHELBY SHOULD HAVE HAD THIS AS AN OPTION.

Get up close and personal with the David Brown Automotive Speedback

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

The David Brown Automotive Speedback is certainly one of the more intriguing coachbuilt cars we've seen recently -- all the more so because it's a product of Britain, not the carrozzeria hub of Italy. We just got our first glimpse of the Speedback yesterday, and thanks to this XCar video, we can dive a bit deeper into the car's origins and its many design details (unfortunately, there's no on-road footage yet). The Speedback, in the words of DBA founder David Brown, seeks to combine the “classic simplicity of the '60s underpinned by a modern platform with all of the functionality you'd expect from a modern car.” And it does so successfully, from what we can tell so far.

Recalls and stop-sale orders leave GM cars sidelined at dealers

Thu, 22 May 2014

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest times of the year for car dealers around the country, but the recent spate of recalls and stop-sale orders for GM vehicles will be putting the brakes on a lot of potential sales. Specifically, Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC dealers will be unable to deliver tens of thousands of large SUVs and crossovers, a segment that has seen a lot of demand in recent months because of unavailable parts for recalled cars, Automotive News reports. When it comes to large crossovers, the recall of 1.3 million examples of the GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, and Chevrolet Traverse vehicles from the 2009-2014 model years is likely to hit dealers hard.

BMW's Domagoj Dukec on the 4 Series Convertible [w/Video]

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

BMW's head of exterior design Domagoj Dukec has explained how the 4 Series Convertible's design sets it apart from the 3 Series in a new video. Dukec says that aside from the fact the 4 Series Convertible is visibly wider than its predecessor with an increased track and wheelbase, its design is unique. While describing the changes to features such as the kidney grille, headlamps and the lines running down the hood, Dukec also compares it to the coupé.
