This is a  Rare  1981  Engine  , Engine was running fine when removed from car & Transmission was good . We are selling the Engine & Transmission as a running core  engine . The 368 has the distinction of being the last traditional "big-block" cast-iron pushrod V8 engine available in production Cadillac cars - it lasted through 1984 in the limousines. All rival big blocks - 400, 403, 440, 454, 455, 460, etc - disappeared between 1976 and 1978. In the RWD models it was always coupled with the heavy duty THM400 transmission, the last factory-produced GM passenger car to come with this transmission , also this transmission fits Oldsmobile , Buick or Pontiac engines .  We are located in Johnson City , Tn 37694 zip code .
