In 1986, I owned Celebrity Shade, manufacturer of car shades with the images of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and WC Fields.

I have only a handful of these ELVIS shades. The shades are extremely rare and are no longer licensed for reproduction. If these are a must for your collection, than better buy now! Original packaging never opened. Check Ebay for other celebrities shades.

Keep Cruisin', Marv Spector

Thu, 08 May 2014

For the last 30 years or so, you could belly up to the service counter at Specter Off Road in scorching Chatsworth, Calif., deep in the Valley, underneath the red-and-white arrow that stretches the length of the squat stucco building. Past the glass cases of old photos and model kits and RC cars from Japan.

Oh, well. But despite the images we ran turning out to be a bit of a red herring, there’s no doubt Jaguar will reveal an F-Type Coupe before too long, but not necessarily as soon as the ‘production’ patent images led us to think.
