Rare clutch/brake pedal setup for 1967 and 1968 Pontiac Grand Prix, also 1967 - 1970 Bonneville and Catalina. This setup has survived the years in nice, lightly worn condition. Clutch and brake pedal are super nice. Clutch rod shows little to no wear. Countershaft is also nice, welding may have been reinforced on one end and includes the adjusting rod. Tokyo Auto Salon pits performance autos against hybrids
Tue, 26 Jan 2010The world's other big January auto show, the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon, opened its doors to tuner enthusiasts in mid-month with a record 402 exhibitors. The Auto Salon fuses numerous styles, but the overriding theme this year was hybrid cars, with customized Toyota Priuses and Honda Insights at every turn. Good old-fashioned engine tuning is alive and well in Japan, where even new sports cars are being heavily modified, with cars such as the KRL Mitsubishi Evolution X and the HKS Nissan GT-R both boasting in excess of 600 hp.

But now, after more than 14,000 Gallardos have been built, the curtain has come down on Lamborghini’s most successful model ever with the last Gallardo – a Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante - rolling off the production line in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The Rosso Mars Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante is now off to join the collection of a wealthy car nut as the last ever Gallardo to be built, and Lamborghini are now heading swiftly towards the Gallardo’s replacement – expected to be the Lamborghini Cabrera.
