This is a pre-WWII vintage Blue-Point Supreme, Open End Wrench (7/8" by 3/4"), model S2428.  This wrench appears to be more rare and desirable than others because it represents one of Blue-Point's earliest efforts.  The stylized date code "-9" refers to a production date of 1939, which was also the last year Blue-Point wrenches appeared without "U.S.A." or "Made in the U.S.A." stamped on the body of the tool.  This explains why U.S.A. does not appear on this particular wrench.  Despite being collectible, this wrench is sturdy and accurate enough for daily use.  The wrench is in very good condition and ready to be put to work.  It measures 9 1/8" long.  Please take a moment and view the other wrenches and tools I have listed on eBay.  I'm happy to combine shipping costs to lower the overall cost to the buyer.

I have made no attempt to clean or refurbish this item; it is being offered in “as found” condition.  Please examine the pictures carefully and ask any questions you might have prior to bidding.  Additional pictures or information is available, if necessary.  This is being offered with No Reserve and with a Low Opening Bid.  Thank you for looking.

The Parajet Skycar - Flying from London to Timbutu We’ve been expecting flying cars to be the norm since the early 1920s sci-fi films that had everyone flying around the place in their very own sky buggy. But, despite countless efforts to make them a reality, they have never really happened. But a London company, Parajet, has just announced the launch of an expedition to ‘Fly’ to Timbuktu from London in their ‘Flying Car’.

Spanish Grand Prix (2010) RESULT

Sun, 09 May 2010

The Spanish GP 2010 gets underway We finally get back to the real F1 world with the first European race of the 2010/2011 season at Barcelona, a circuit that is probably better known by the drivers than any other thanks to winter testing. Yesterday’s qualifying saw the Red Bulls dominate as they have at ever qualifying this year. Only this time it was Webber who stole pole from team mate Vettel.
