RARE, RARE, RARE, ARE, American Racing Enterprises Alloy Wheels with eared spinners. These wheels recently came off of a friends, 1974 TR6. These RARE, ARE wheels are a period correct aftermarket wheel that was offered as an option by some USA Triumph Dealers. These wheels became very popular due to being used on Kas Kastner and Group 44 Triumph Race Cars. Size is 15"X5". At first glance the wheels appear to be knock off wheels that have a shape similar to Mini-Lites or Panasports but closer inspection reveals that these RARE ARE wheels are held on with special lug nuts (which are included in this auction) while the eared Spinners simple thread onto the wheels center. These wheels are obviously used with scratches and blemishes in the painted finish. Also included are 3 used Hankook Radial H714 tires size P205/70R15 with a good amount of tread left. I am willing to ship these wheels and tires within the 48 states for ACTUAL COSTS or you can come to NJ, 07737 to pick them up.

Wed, 29 May 2013

The Renault Twin'Run concept, unveiled during the weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, is the sibling of the Twin'Z collaboration with Ross Lovegrove. Together they fulfill the ‘Play' stage of Renault's ongoing concept car lifecycle. While its overall form is very similar to the Twin'Z's (apologies for awkward punctuation on Renault's behalf), previewing the next-generation, rear-engined Twingo, the ‘Run is altogether racier than the more pragmatic – if no less flamboyant – ‘Z.
