Up for Auction is the this set of 4 x 1960s era made "Houser" Brand Brake springs to suit 1957 1958 1959 (and probably maybe 60 61 also ?) with the Original Style Centre Plane Brakes . (front and Rear are the same )They were colour coded by what they were to suit originally and I imagine these guys were the original manufacturer anyway .I don't have their catalogue so i am not sure if they were for 11 or 12 inch brakes but if they look what you have then got for it !This is the component needed if your brakes keep playing up and the one thing people don't realise stretch over time causing problems .These are not available reproduction so they are priceless to a restorer .These are Purple and have 4 coil springs and Part Number A235 in the Houser range .This is all I have so don't miss out .Postage is $15 Worldwide and boxed extremely well . |

College Exhibition: IED Degree Show 2009
Tue, 08 Sep 2009Graduating students from the three-year post-graduate Transportation Design course at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy presented a tribute to the Aston Martin brand for their graduate theses. Called "Aston Martin 2025", 17 students in the post-graduate course - led by Fulvio Fantolino, IED's Transportation Design Course Coordinator - employed exclusivity, elegance, sporting style and the idea of sharing and emotion as their design keywords, developing a theme which ultimately saw 13 projects created in Alias or in clay. Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman provided the students with useful indications for the final development and a further selection led to the short listing of eight projects that were then produced in 1:4 scale models thanks to collaboration with Cecomp.

Drink Drive Message Failing As One In 15 Fail Breath-Tests
Mon, 28 Jul 2014ROAD safety charity Brake has issued an appeal to the public to not drink and drive this summer and all year-round, as figures from the Association of Chief Police Officer's (ACPO) summer drink drive enforcement campaign, show one in 15 of those breath-tested were over the limit. During the national campaign, which ran from 1 June to 30 June, 63,688 breath tests were administered, of which 4,108 (6.5%, or one in 15) were failed or refused. This is 1.3% more than during the 2013 campaign.
