Original celluloid pin in pristine original new old stock, unused condition. It is hallmarked around the edge. It is nice and bright with no fading, wear, tarnish, chips, cracks, scratches, bends or damages (see photos). It is absolutely pristine! Volkswagen Group designer Walter de'Silva was chosen for this year's Lifetime Design Achievement Award at EyesOn Design, which ran over Father's Day weekend in the Detroit area. About 260 invitation-only vehicles were in attendance at Sunday's car show on the grounds of the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores. They were chosen based on this year's theme of "Designing for the Future."

This is the Renault Twizy ZE concept, just unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. And while it might look mad, Renault has confirmed this 1+1 electric city car will go into production in 2011 essentially unchanged. I’m stunned – tell me all about the Renault Twizy ZE concept
The Twizy ZE is a zero-emissions ‘car’ designed for urban transportation, with a tiny 2.3m length and a mere 3m turning circle.
So the opening of McLaren Manama – a joint venture between McLaren Automotive, Mumtalakat, and Al Ghassan Motors - at the Bahrain World Trade Centre is an opportunity to get the P1 front and centre as McLaren promotes both the new showroom and the upcoming 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix. But it won’t just be the P1 in McLaren’s new Bahrain showroom, it will also be the getting the Formula One gloss too with the MP4-25 – Jenson Button’s car in his 2010 season with McLaren – going on display to garner footfall in the new showroom. To give us a reason to report on the new showroom in Bahrain, McLaren has released more images from the photo shoot earlier this year at the Bahrain International Circuit when they were busy drumming up interest in the P1, and they’re such beautifully lit and shot images we couldn’t not publish them.
