Vintage Historic Mugen Kart Engine, MKk100A1 Reed Valve - Very Rare !

Much harder to find than any McCulloch,
but Way Faster !

From my personal collection, but I have several,
and need room for new arrivals.

Has one fin broke off cylinder on the seat side (right).
And has a light coat of corrosion on the aluminum.

Porting on par with the Parilla TT75.

Complete with Denso CDI ignition.

Does not come with header or carb.

These originally came with a special Walbro WB30A made to Mugen's specs,
and internal pulse.
They were not the same as the Yamaha piston port carbs,
and could handle a high rpm reed engine.
But any Tillotson HL carb will fit,
such as an HL360, 380,
or any HL pattern carb such as Ibea or Tryton.

Cleaned up, would make a nice display,
or freshened up would make a good runner.

I ship anywhere in the continental US for $40.
Texas bidders will be charged state sales tax.
Payment due within 7 days of close of auction.

Buick Regal GS at Detroit

Thu, 07 Jan 2010

GM are showing a 'Concept' of the Buick Regal GS at the Detroit Motor Show It always seemed likely that having taken the very good Vauxhall Insignia and turned it in to a Buick for the 21st century – The Buick Regal – that GM would take the obvious step of producing a performance version based on the Insignia VRX. So it’s not a huge surprise that GM have revealed the Buick Regal GS as a Concept (concept? Believe that and you’ll believe anything) which they are showing at the Detroit Motor Show this month.

Bring a Trailer: 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX rally car

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

This 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX rally car is featured on Bring a Trailer this morning, and it brings us right back to our rambunctious high school years. Sure, we didn't get our licenses until 1996, but that was the perfect time to find something a few years old--preferably with a turbocharger and a manual transmission—and hoon it to death. But while there were several Eclipses floating around our group of friends, none was as built as this car.

Councils to cut roadworks red tape

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

COUNCILS in England could soon have the power to cut red tape and make road works much quicker and more accountable. The plan is to introduce permits for any company that wants to dig up a road, which means they will have to co-ordinate their work with other companies and local authorities to reduce the impact of delays on the public. The permit scheme could come into force as early as April 2015 and means anyone applying for a permit to carry out road works will need to present a convincing case for the work.
