BMW recalls new 5-series
Wed, 28 Jul 2010BMW is recalling up to 12,400 new 5-series sedans that have defective fuel-tank sensors. Bloomberg reports that the fuel sensors can become wedged against the tank, causing the fuel gauge to display a higher amount of fuel than what is present. There have been 10 reported incidents of sedans being affected by the defect in the United States.
Citroën Prototypes make British debut at Classic Motor Show

The Citroën Car Club, the 2CVGB club and the Traction Owners Club will be showing four models - three of which have not been seen before on British soil - to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the French marque. These amazing vehicles are being brought to the UK from Citroën's Conservatoire in Paris especially for the show.
Mercedes F1 at Edinburgh’s Race the Runway
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The 2012 Mercedes F1 car will be at Edinburgh’s Race the Runway 2014 event In 2013, Mercedes decided to cough up sponsorship to help the Race the Runway event at Edinburgh Airport, and it must have been a success as Mercedes are back again as event sponsors. The Race the Runway event is an opportunity for car owners to blat their cars down the runway at Edinburgh Airport and generate cash for a worthy cause – the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow. Participants have to cough up a £300 donation to the charity to get the chance to see what their car can do, for which they get a free lunch as well as the thrill of flat-out driving on the runway, and can even bring a passenger along.
