This auction is for ONE (1) HARD TO FIND REBUILT ORIGINAL WATER PUMP & GASKET WITH ORIGINAL PULLEY for the 1960-1966 DAIMLER SP250 also known as THE DAIMLER DART. THIS PUMP IS BETTER THAN ORIGINAL WITH AN UPGRADED 6 BLADE IMPELLER. AN IMPROVEMENT OVER THE ORIGINAL 4 BLADE VERSION.
This ORIGINAL DAIMLER WATER PUMP has been completely RESTORED. We DIS-ASSEMBLE and CLEAN the casting and pulley, machine,the gasket surface, replace the bearings and seals, paint the pulley and reassemble to the original setting height specs.
IMPORTANT: AS WITH ALL OF OUR REBUILDS THIS ONE REQUIRES THAT A MATCHING OLD UNIT (CORE) BE TURNED IN OR AN ADDITIONAL US$300.00 CORE DEPOSIT BE LEFT, BEFORE WE SHIP. We are always interested in buying old WATER PUMP and WIPER MOTOR CORES.

But New York turns out to have been vital in the history of car design, as I found researching an exhibition Cars, Culture and the City at the Museum of the City of New York as guest curator over the last few months, working with the museums curator architecture and design, Donald Albrecht. The show has just opened, on March 25.

Thu, 13 Jun 2013The new Range Rover (pictured) get Car Dealer Magazine’s Car of the Year Award The new Range Rover may have started its trophy cabinet with an award for the best 4×4 from the Sunday Times – even though they’d never driven it – but the Car of the Year Award from Car Dealer Magazine is a much more credible one. It’s more credible because it’s voted on by car dealers across the UK – from a wide range of franchises – and gives credibility not just to the new Range Rover but to Land Rover’s support of dealers too. Car Dealer Magazine say the new Range Rover was the clear winner by a mile, with dealers commenting the latest version of the Range Rover is a gargantuan step on from the old model – which itself was already very good – and that it ‘Cannot fail to impress’.
