Or maybe McLaren feels the needs to differentiate the strategies so the driver will be less of a focus than the strategy. Whichever it was we’ll never really know which of McLaren’s setups for the Monza Grand Prix was the best.

FH Joanneum Graz - KTM project

Industrial Design students in the 6th term at the University for Applied Science, FH Joanneum Graz, Austria showed concepts created in a KTM-sponsored project entitled 'KTM Superbrand' earlier this summer. Unlike typical transportation projects, this project called for students to create a product that would develop the transportation brand and push it to the next level. The brief asked students to develop a '2, 3, 4 or no wheel' niche product, which translated KTM values into a world 10 years from now.

Rolls-Royce-infused Mini debuts at Pebble Beach

Mini is debuting a 2012 special-edition Cooper hardtop infused with Rolls-Royce design at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this week in California. The limited-run Mini Inspired by Goodwood will be set up alongside the Mini Cooper coupe two-seater--first revealed at the Geneva motor show--making its U.S. debut.
