Rare Porsche 911 Early Carrera Tail Rs Rsr 3.0 Whale Weissach Turbo Spoiler 1973 on 2040-parts.com
Lincoln, Nebraska, United States
This Early Carrera whale tail is comprised of what appears to
be an original 73 and older factory steel deck lid mounted with the Porsche looking fiberglass woven tail overlay minus the rubber lip. I am to believe that this Carrera tail could also be a prototype of thee first built due to the stamped out light housings like the late 73 RS and Turbos. If it's not then this tail is one of the best steel framed non-mass produced reproductions...
The tail appears to be guards red in color and not perfect as there are some usual chips and scratches as well as the hairline crack duly noted in the fiberglass along bottom of the deck lid's base. Like many vintage whale tails, this one will require some prep before painting however it is structurally fine for
use on the track or an outlaw driver as is.
This tail will be packed well and properly shipped by FedEx for a safe delivery in the U.S. only! May consider overseas shipping but buyer must have knowledge of the outrageous shipping and handling costs incurred and contact me before buying it now. Thanks!
