This auction is for rare Porsche 944 Turbo KKK K26-8 Turbocharger. This turbocharger was a factory upgrade from the KKK K26-6 Turbocharger and is a direct replacement fit for a K26-6. The K26-8 is equipped with a larger hothousing than the K26-6, allowing for more exhaust to flow through reducing back pressure, decreasing spool time, and yes more horsepower! This Turbocharger was rebuilt through Lindsey Racing within the last year and has very few miles on it but unfortunatley the shaft was broken during a wastegate failure. The hot side turbine (which is the rare side) doesn't seem to have taken any major damage and could be reused. The cold side turbine (which is the same as the K26-6 turbine) will need replaced which is a easy to find and a cheap replacement. Sold as is.

2015 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV will look mean in your rearview mirror

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

We weren't particular surprised by Chevrolet's unveiling of a Tahoe Police Concept Car at SEMA, as it seemed a perfectly natural use for the truck, and we weren't surprised today when news broke that the Tahoe was going to be offered in law-enforcement spec to police agencies around the country. With stiff competition from the Dodge Durango and the tremendously popular Ford Explorer PPV, a cop-spec 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, makes perfect sense. The Chevrolet Tahoe PPV will debut with the new fuel-efficient 5.3-liter direct-injection V8 engine, which produces 335 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque.

Double Oh My! James Bond Aston Martin sells for $4.6 million

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

Perhaps the single most breathtaking car of the fall auction season, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5--better known as the James Bond car--sold for $4.61 million to Ohio collector Harry Yeaggy on Wednesday at the RM Auctions Automobiles of London sale. The Aston was expected to sell for more than $5 million, and the sale fell a bit short of that, registering a final bid of 2.6 million British pounds, or $4,114,760. Buyer's premiums raise the total sale price to $4.61 million.
