Up for sale here is a very rare working Curved Glass Stewart Warner Tachometer, stamped 760-G dated W12(decoding Dec. 1953) 0-4,500 R.P.M. 6 volt electronic tach. Stamped on the bottom is 416205. As you can see in the pictures it is in awesome original condition for being 66 years young! It has a convex glass, and stepped chrome bezel. This unit was pulled out of a 52' Henry J. in favor of a higher revving tach, and it will require a transmitter for operation not sold in this auction! I believe there are a few places that can convert these units to run without the transmitter. This vintage tachometer will make a great addition to any vintage vehicle, or marine application! He reports directly to Luc Donkerwolke, head of Bentley Styling and Design and taken up the position left by Dave Hilton. Korean-born Lee joins the British carmaker from Volkswagen/Audi's Advanced studio in California, where he held the position of chief designer of Exterior from January 2010.
Maserati Ghibli teased ahead of Shanghai Motor Show debut
Tue, 02 Apr 2013Maserati appear to be teasing the arrival of the smaller Quattroporte – the Maserati Ghibli – at the Shanghai Motor Show later this month. Maserati is on a bit of a new model rush at the moment, and it looks like the tease photo they’ve released today is for the new Maserati Ghibli. The Maserati Ghibli isn’t going to be a sporty coupe – as you might reasonably expect – but a cut-down version of the new Quattroporte, designed to take on the performance versions of Europe’s executive express cars – think BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E Class and Jaguar XF.
