For your consideration is this UNIQUE OLD RARE PAIR OF CUSTOM MADE BOAT ENGINE EXHAUST TAIL PIPE SILENCERS FROM THE 1940'S (A UNIQUE & RARE ONE OF A KIND SET)

These two UNIQUE & VERY RARE old pair of boat engine exhaust tail pipe silencers were both custom made from two old VINTAGE ALUMINUM 1940's FISHERMAN " TRAWL BUOYS" buoys were made by: MANUFACTURE PHILLIPS TRAWL BUOY PRODUCTS / PHILLIPS DEEP SEA TRAWL BUOYS from "GRIMSEY ENGLAND".

THESE TWO OLD 1940'S CUSTOM MADE EXHAUST PIPE SILENCERS ARE MADE OF THICK CAST ALUMINUM AND WELDED ALUMINUM PIPE / ALUMINUM PIPES MEASURES APPROX 1/4 OF AN INCH THICK EACH.

EXHAUST TAIL PIPE SILENCERS MEASUREMENTS:
Center sphere buoy body measure's 7-1/2 inches wide / This part of the Exhaust silencer was made from a 1940's Commercial Deep Sea Trawl buoy that was made in Grimsey England.
Exhaust tail pipe connecting portion part that has the cut slits down it is the pipe side that clamps tightly onto your engines exhaust tail pipe end. This pipe portion measures 5 inches long and has a 3 inch outside dis and 
its inside width measure's 2-1/2 inches wide fits on to a 2-1/2"  inch pipe dia.
The Exhaust pipe tip end or the exhaust tail pipe end sticking up out of top portion of silencer measures 6-1/2 inches long and it has an outside width measurement of  2-3/8 inches wide and its inside width measure's 2 inches wide on its inside.

Each silence weighs approx 5 (lbs) pounds each. Both items together weigh approx 10 lbs in total. ITEMS WILL BE WRAPPED SHIPPED IN ONE LARGE SINGLE HEAVY 14 LB BOX.

Selling this rare vintage one of a kind buoy exhaust silencer set "AS IS".

Aston Martin CC100 Speedster Concept celebrates Aston Martin’s Centenary (video)

Looking like a modern interpretation of the legendary AM DBR1 Le Mans car from the 1950s, the CC100 is a dramatic ‘Speedster’ concept powered by Aston’s latest V12 and makes its debut – driven by Ulrich Bez – at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring Race event in Germany today (19th May 2013). Aston put together the CC100 in less than six months (did no one tell them 2013 was Aston’s centenary year until last Christmas?), and roped in carbon fibre specialists Multimatic to create the body and interior from carbon fibre, and Aston Martin used the VHM platform to create the underpinnings for the CC100, and have powered it with the latest version of the V12 AM11 engine with a six-speed sequential gearbox. Chief Exterior Designer, Miles Nurnberger, said: The brief was very simple, yet enormously testing: create something that reflects the 100 years of Aston Martin heritage and signals the future of the brand.

The Jaguar XJ Sentinel - the armoured version - will launch at Moscow this month Sentinel: One who keeps guard. An appropriate name for an armoured Jaguar XJ, although it reminds me of junk mail plopping on the mat from a company desperate to offer me protection  for my credit cards and keys. But that’s probably just me.
