This is a used original 40083 AC fuel pump with the two gussetts. This AC fuel pump was original equipment on 1964-1965 Corvettes Sp/H/Per., F.I. and 1966 Corvettes with Sp./H/Per. The fuel is listed in my 1966 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Oct. 1965) as GM part # 6515325 in Gr. 3.900. This pump is listed in the 1964 & 1965 Corvette Assembly Manuals (UPC L76, Sheet 4 and UPC L84, Sheet 2) as GM part number 6440083. The fuel pump is stamped "40083" on the edge of the flange on the top. Because this area has corroded somewhat it is hard to read the last digit, "3". On the flange part that attaches to the engine are the casting numbers "PT 5623145" and "5A". The bottom plate on the pump is yellow dichromate plated.
I have no idea if the pump works correctly as I bought it at a swap meet and cleaned off the grease and grime. This pump should be rebuilt by a qualified rebuilder before installation. Before bidding the potential bidders should review all 12 photos and do their own research to make sure that this fuel pump is correct for their car. Why the Honda Ridgeline pickup is driving off into the sunset

After much fanfare with its introduction in 2005, little was done to upgrade the mid-sized pickup. Mazda Tribute recalled for same fix as Ford Escape
