Up for the offering is this RARE 16mm promotional Film titled - 62 Seahose Spectacular / Johnson Motors.
It appears to be in color (one can see colours on the opening tile lead - see close up pic of film. I do not have a machine to play it on - I can only verify the first part / opening of the film that it is by Johnson Motors. Appears to be in very good condition - there are a couple of cracks in the yellow leader - but the rest seems very good. After the yellow leader that is a lot of tape with the count down etc before the film starts, When the film starts, one can see the opening part is in colour. The reel is approx 10 1/2" in diameter - the inside of the tin indicates the reel could hold 800 ft. I could note find this film any where, so I do not have too much info on it. There might be a Postal Strike in Canada - if there is I can mail this from across the border (Niagara Falls NY), It might take a few days before I get a chance to go across the border, but not longer than a week Overseas shipping (Europe, Asia etc) will like cost around $100.00 - best not to buy. Canadian Buyers subject to HST depending upon which province it is shipped to. Ford improves simulators to help driver safety

Given modern vehicles' built-in opportunities for driver distraction, not to mention society's penchant for mobile-device use while motoring, it's a wonder we get home safely at all. To that end, Ford has upgraded its Virttex virtual-reality machine to study driver performance in the pursuit of safety devices and driver-aid development.

What we still haven’t completely got our heads around is the plethora of models subsequently revealed at the show itself. Yes, we were expecting the new Lotus Esprit – even if we reckoned we might have got that wrong after the New Elite showed up – but we hadn’t reckoned on the new Elan, the new Eterne and the new Elise as well (never mind a City Car concept).

Earlier this month we had a video from Porsche of the Panamera Sport Turismo on the move with comments and insights on the design process, and now we get a more detailed look at the development and thinking behind the transition from ugly duckling Panamera to stunningly good looking Panamera Sport Turismo. Porsche don’t want to call the Sport Turismo a Station Wagon, but that is effectively what the Sport Turismo is (and it can’t be a true Shooting Brake with four doors).
