Up for bid is a NOS Chevrolet Truck Antenna Kit. I had 2 of these and this is the last one. GM part #985472, 3 step antenna mast, looks to be complete, i opened the box for the first time today to take the pictures, complete with mast, cable, upper and lower bezels and gasket, clips, spacer, tube, brackets, instruction sheet, drill template and original box, the instuction sheet was stapled inside the box and the center is torn out but i will send a copy from the antenna kit i sold last week along with the torn original. (SEE PICTURES FOR BEST DESCRIPTION). My research shows this to be correct for 1963 1964 1965 &1966 Chevy and GMC Trucks, all models except tilt cab models, and would most likely work on 1960 1961 & 1962 models also, 2 and 4 Wheel Drive. VW exec Jacoby reportedly heading to Volvo
Thu, 24 Jun 2010Volkswagen of America said it is in talks with CEO Stefan Jacoby, who reportedly has been tapped to run Volvo Car Corp. In the meantime, VW has temporarily named two executives to take over Jacoby's duties, the German automaker said in a statement Thursday. "We are holding contract talks with Stefan Jacoby," the statement said.
UPDATED: Honda hints at new European advanced design studio
Tue, 29 Nov 2011On the eve of the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Honda Design's Creative Director, Toshinobu Minami, announced that the company is looking to once again open a design facility in Europe. The announcement came during a presentation at the R&D Center in Waco, just outside the Japanese capital and, while not confirmed, Minami-san strongly hinted that the UK would be a likely candidate to play host to Honda's revitalized European design operations. He cited the country's existing manufacturing and administration facilities, as well as a wealth of new talent from the Royal College of Art in particular.
Maeda named new Mazda design boss, replacing van den Acker
Wed, 01 Apr 2009Ikuo Maeda is the new head of design at Mazda Motor Corp. The man who is credited with styling the Mazda's flagship sports car takes over for Dutchman Laurens van den Acker, 43, who has decided to leave the company "to pursue other interests," the automaker said in a statement today. Van den Acker, who joined Mazda in 2006, will remain at the automaker until April 10 to ensure a smooth transition for Maeda, Mazda said.
