Here is a great vintage matching set of RARE Guide Lights.  I can't find any information on them at all.  The guy I bought them from said he had them for years and that they were off of a battleship.  I don't know, but these would look great on a Hot Rod, Rat Rod, or Custom.  Someone painted them gold for some reason.  They are stamped "Guide Made in USA" on the back of both buckets.  The "Guide" portion is in the old style script.  They appear to be 12 volt and take standard 6" sealed beam lights.  The portion surrounding the light bulbs is rubber.  It is in good condition, but is painted.  The paint should come off with some goof off or other type of paint remover. I will leave that to you.  They are 9 inches in diameter across the front, 6.5 inches in diameter across the back, and 6.5 inches deep.  The back does have a slight curve to it and they appear they were originally black in color.  One of the light buckets is in great shape with no dent, dings, etc.  The other does have a few dings and some scraping around the front edge of the bucket. These lights are heavy at over 7 pounds each. Please check your application for fitment and see all photos for additional information.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding.

Shipping on this item is FREE and I will ship out the next business day after payment.

Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my other vintage Hot Rod parts, Hot Wheels, Carroll Shelby items and autographs in my store.

Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction. If payment is not received by then an unpaid item case will be opened by Ebay. If you are the winner of this auction and you need more than 3 days to pay, please contact me.

Mini John Cooper Works concept (2014) first official pictures

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 17 December 2013 16:00 This is the Mini John Cooper Works concept, which previews the look of the hottest version of the new third-gen Mini. The new JCW takes the larger, third-gen Mini three-door, which was revealed at Oxford last month, and gives it a triple nostrilled front bumper, red bodywork accents and myriad (doubtless superficial) vents for a racier look than its predecessor. New intakes also usurp the previous car’s front foglights, and 18in five-spoke alloys ape the look of the outgoing Mini GP flagship.

Jaguar C-X75 at Berkeley Boutique +video

Thu, 16 Dec 2010

Jaguar C-X75 is on show at the Berkeley Boutique It’s easy to get a bit carried away when writing a headline. Perhaps not to the degree of xenophobic alliteration so beloved of our red-tops, but carried away with the moment nonetheless. But the range of headlines surrounding the Jaguar C-X75 Concept when it turned up at Paris in September where all in the same vein – the Jaguar C-X75 stole the show – and they were no exaggeration.

Toyota outlines quality reforms; chief bows out of U.S. hearings

Wed, 17 Feb 2010

Conceding that breakneck expansion led to Toyota Motor Corp.'s current recall crisis, president Akio Toyoda outlined reforms meant to get quality back on track, including more active use of the car's so-called black box crash data recorder. Toyoda, grandson of the carmaker's founder, also indicated he won't sit before Congressional hearings into the quality lapses that have triggered recalls of more than 8.5 million vehicles since last fall. Yoshimi Inaba, the head of Toyota's U.S.
