You are bidding on a RARE VINTAGE SUN VISOR MIRROR with a mercury thermometer and maintenance tracking area intended for a grease pencil. It measures 8" by 4" overall. The mirror is oval with the thermometer on the left and the tracking areas on the right. The mirror, thermometer, and maintenance area have a single glass cover over all of them, as it was meant to be written on with a grease pencil. Overall, it is made of steel with a dark wood grain painted enamel print, steel clips and a place on the back for business cards and receipts. The enamel paint is in decent condition with some scratches and minor paint chips. The glass cover is in great condition and has no major scratches. The thermometer glass is in tact and has the red mercury in it, but it doesn't seem to be working. The mirror has scratches and blemishes and the clips have surface rust.

The thermometer is marked "Made in U.S.A." The maintenance area has tracking spaces marked for Oil, Grease, Battery, and Trip.

Overall, a nice vintage piece that will make a great addition to your vintage car or add it to your display collection. Very few if these have survived the years. See high resolution photos for more.
