RARE Vintage Lot of 2 AIRCRAFT Airplane Manifold Pressure & Weston Model 606 Gauges
Not very familiar with these pieces but they were from a lot of other WWII airplane parts.
Included in this lot are a "Manifold Pressure Gauge" photos #3-5 and another gauge which I'm unsure of it's purpose.
It has writing on it which doesn't show well in the photos.
On the glass face it reads "WESTON" MODEL 606 T-23 No. 324701, this one is shown in photos #6-10.
Both are in excellent & clean vintage condition, except the manifold pressure gauge does not have a glass face.
It may be missing or it may have never had one.

Maserati GranTurismo

Thu, 22 Feb 2007

Maserati has released photos of their new coupe, the GranTurismo, in advance of its unveiling at Geneva next week. Designed by Pininfarina, the sketches also circulating were by Jason Castriota who penned the Maserati Birdcage concept shown in Geneva in 2005, before it turned heads at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that year. There is affinity between the two designs, and a more aggressive look than the current car designed by ItalDesign.

Dodge is set to unveil a refreshed Charger and Challenger for the 2015 model year. Prior to the debut of the models at the New York auto show next week, the automaker has dropped a few teaser images. First, Dodge has given the front fascia of the Charger a serious redesign, trading the large, upright headlights for sleeker units, also dramatically altering the grille design.

The case of the disappearing Lambos

Thu, 15 Jan 2009

Now this should have rung an alarm bell or two at the time, but it seems it didn’t. Back in November the world’s largest Lamborghini dealership – Lamborghini Orange County – turned up its toes and closed the doors, apparently a victim of the downturn in car sales. Not the oddest story in these times admittedly, but a bit odd when you consider that Lamborghini OC was reckoned to be responsible for 10% of Lamborghini’s sales worldwide, shifting around 240 cars a year.
