1998 TOYOTA RAV 4.  MY WIFE HAS OWNED THIS VEHICLE FOR THREE YEARS AND IS THE THIRD OWNER.  THE VEHICLE HAS A CLEAR TITLE.  THE VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY 189500 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT.  THERE ARE NEW TIRES PUT ON IT LAST YEAR WITH DECENT TREAD ON IT.  THE TIMING BELT WAS REPLACED ABOUT A MONTH AGO.

*POWER WINDOWS/LOCKS
VEHICLE HAS ALWAYS RUN GOOD.  THERE ARE NO MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE.  THERE ARE NEW BRAKES ON THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THOSE WOULD HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE VEHICLE THREE MONTHS AGO.  THERE IS SOME SMALL RUST SPOTS NEAR THE DOOR FRAME ON THE DRIVER SIDE.  THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS AND THE SELLER WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.  

Nissan Juke Nismo: Paris 2012

Nissan has kicked off its Nismo road car range with the reveal of the production Juke Nismo at the Paris Motor Show. The Juke Nismo get the same 1.6 litre petrol engine as the Juke DIG-T model, but it’s been fettled to offer more than the stock engine’s 187bhp. Trouble is, even though its due on sale in the UK in a few months, Nissan still isn’t saying exactly what the Juke Nismo gets – but it should be around 200bhp.

The end of the internal combustion engine is nigh, they say, as the world tries to clean up its environmental act and works towards a goal of electric motors to power our personal transport. But car makers are fighting that belief by extracting more power for less fuel from ICE engines, and there’s still a very long way to go before the ICE engine is consigned to the history books. Volkswagen has already reduced the fuel consumption of both their diesel and petrol engines by 30 per cent since 2000 and plan a further reduction of 15 per cent by 2020.
