This item was one of many items purchased at a large aviation auction. We were told most of the items were Bell Helicopter parts from various models. U.S. will honor clunker rebates until Senate acts, DOT chief says

The Obama administration will fund the cash for clunkers program until the Senate decides whether to add $2 billion to the original $1 billion fund that is likely to be depleted this weekend, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said today. He said the administration would honor dealer rebate applications filed at least through Tuesday, Aug.

THE NEW Peugeot 308 will start from £14,495 when it goes on sale in the UK in January. The French company says it has simplified the range and the 308 will now be offered in Access, Active, Allure and Feline trims. All but the entry-level model come with alloy wheels as standard, while all new 308s have air conditioning, cruise control, digital radio, Bluetooth and LED daytime running lights.
