Infiniti, Red Bull considering performance cars - Ghosn

Infiniti and Red Bull could go into business together developing go-faster performance cars, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has confirmed to CAR. The new August 2011 issue of CAR Magazine has a four-page interview with Ghosn (click here for a free digital preview) and we asked him if we will see a Red Bull-fettled Infiniti sports car. 'Why not?,' he replied. 'I don’t think we can bank on it today, but when Nissan people and Red Bull people come together and ask what can we do better, what can we do more of, if something like this makes sense, then why not?

Car Design News to host trio of events around Shanghai motor show

As the automotive world looks forward to the Auto Shanghai motor show, Car Design News is looking forward to hosting three events prior to and alongside the show: the CDN Interior Motives China Conference; Car Design Awards China; and the official Car Design Night. Spyker makes a new offer for Saab; General Motors will evaluate

Spyker Cars said Sunday it had submitted a new offer for the Saab brand. Spyker CEO Victor Muller said an 11-point proposal had been handed to General Motors addressing each of the issues that arose during due diligence after the Dutch company originally bid for Saab. Muller said the new offer would remove the obstacles that were standing in the way of a swift sale of Saab to Spyker.
