The 12th annual degree show at the University centered on creating a ‘Whole new, different kind of urban vehicle.' 18 final year transportation design students took on the brief, with underlying themes such as crash safety, versatility and the ability to adapt the vehicle to suit varying driver needs appearing throughout the students' work. Island tour kicks off Hilton Head weekend
Fri, 04 Nov 2011Intermittent sun and cool temperatures greeted the several dozen participants in the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d’Elegance “behind the gates” driving tour Friday, kicking off the concours weekend. The 30-some mile tour wound in and out of several gated communities near Hilton Head Island, stopping at various points along the way for people to get a view of the cars. The tour featured an eclectic mix of vehicles, something not always seen in events such as this.
Tesla EV stores could be banned in New Jersey

New Jersey follows in the steps of Arizona and Texas in implementing a rule that would ban Tesla from operating its stores, which are alleged to violate state dealer-franchise laws mandating vehicles sales through third-party dealerships.
