7" Raymarine Pathfinder L770CRC+ Fish Finder/Chart Plotter Display

This L770CRC Plus was removed from my boat this spring for a complete Raymarine electronics replacement.  It worked perfectly all the way through last fall when the boat was winterized.  The pictures are of the actual unit and those with screens showing are from when the display was powered up earlier today.  The display is fully functional.  This is a freshwater only (Great Lakes) unit with the Clear Bright daylight viewable screen, HSB2 networking, 2 CMap NT+ chart slots.

The unit was installed on my salmon/walleye boat. The sun cover was always used when the display was not on.  It is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition.  I bought it new in 2005 when I last upgraded my boat's electronics.   It was networked using HSB2 and SeaTalk to another L770 display (one was on the rear and one on the bow), DSM250 blackbox fishfinder (sold with the other L770), a RL80CRC radar/chart display on the console, a ST6001 autopilot, and an NMEA GPS chart plotter.  Any function could be displayed on any of the three screens.  Some of the other components are for sale in other eBay listings.

Features:
  • 7" full color diagonal display -- no issues, pictures are of the actual unit powered on a few days ago
  • Screen is the HIGH BRIGHT  daylight viewable version
  • 2 CMap NT+ chart card slots -- both work great (had a Lake Michigan/Huron and a Lake Erie card installed -- chart screen pictures are with the cards installed to show details -- cards may also be available if interested)
  • HSB2 networking
  • SeaTalk networking
  • NMEA data in and out
  • Can display fish finder, chart plotter, radar... screens from any other Raymarine networked unit
  • Split screen display of charts, fishfinder
  • User selectable boxes to show lots of other data -- headings, temperature, depth, time...
  • MUST have a DSM250 black-box fish finder w/ transducer for this unit to work -- the DSM250 IS NOT INCLUDED
Includes:
  • The L770CRC+ display
  • Gimbal mount with knobs
  • Power NMEA in cable
Price:  $350 or make an offer!

Shipping:  It will be buyer's choice of carrier and speed of shipping including insurance at the purchase price.  Will ship to USA, Canada or worldwide with buyer paying ACTUAL shipping & insurance costs.

Returns:  Returns only allowed if the wrong unit is shipped.  Due to problems in the past with scammers trying to return broken units and electronics that didn't work due to improper installation, unit is sole as is.  Check my feedback, I don't sell bad stuff.  If the unit is damaged in shipping, that is what the shipping insurance is for.  If it doesn't work, contact me but also that is what the eBay buyer protection guarantee is for.  I wish it didn't have to be this way, but too many dishonest people out there.

Note: the pictures shown were taken with the unit connected to a 12v power source on my work bench and are actual pictures of it running earlier today.

If you have questions, please ASK before you buy or make an offer.  I know this unit very well and can help if you are uncertain if it will work for you.

Fiat 500 1957 Edition revealed ahead of LA Auto Show

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

While American teenagers were cruising around in finned interstate crushers, Europeans of all ages were discovering the wonder of automobile ownership thanks to the tiny, affordable Fiat Nuova 500, introduced to a car-hungry public in 1957. The little two-cylinder city car was a smash hit, with 3,893,294 built before production ended in 1975. Fiat 500 production resumed in 2007, but the new car was vastly different from the original: Its engine gained two cylinders and moved to the front of the car, while its footprint, though diminutive by American standards, positively dwarfs that of its predecessor.

Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy grabs Nurburgring Record

Fri, 17 Jun 2011

Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy and the Nurburgring crew First we get the news that Renault has pushed out a limited edition Megane Renaulsport – the Megane Renaulsport 265 Trophy with a slightly tweaked and titivated version of the Megane Renaultsport 250 – and now we get the follow-up publicity with the claim of a new Nurburgring record for the brisk Megane. This isn’t a record that’s quite as daft as some of the records that are claimed for the Nurburgring (there almost seems to be a specific category of ‘Record’ time to fit every car maker’s needs), but it does seem a bit obscure. It’s the Nurburgring record for the fastest production front wheel drive car.

SMART ForTwo & SMART ForFour teased with what it’s NOT (Video)

Sun, 13 Jul 2014

The new SMART City Car will be a giant – apparently It’s a bit of a cliche, but we’re not entirely sure Germans should use humour to promote their products. But SMART seem to have decided the way to go to tease the upcoming 2015 models of the SMART ForTwo and SMART ForFour is to try and convince that they’ve decided a small City Car is wrong and what we really need is a giant City Car. So we get two videos purporting to show what the new SMART City Cars offer – basically a SMART the size of a lorry – and set about convincing us, and gullible members of the public on camera, that this is indeed the route they’re going for the new SMART.
