As we say every time Koenigsegg jumps in to vision with another bonkers car or speed feat, we’re amazed at just what a handful of men with beards (except Christian von Koenigesgg – who doesn’t seem to have a hair to his name) can do from a shed in the snow of Sweden. Venchurs Vehicles takes CNG pickup to Moab

Venchurs Vehicle Systems took its new bifuel Ford F-250 Park Ranger pickup to the rocks of Moab, Utah, for the Easter Jeep Safari. The truck won't climb the most difficult trails, but it did do everything a park ranger's truck might need to. “It's the only CNG in Moab,” said Pat Muldoon, vice president of product development engineering for Venchurs, though he couldn't possibly know that.

Call for stronger penalties for texting drivers

DRIVERS convicted of causing death by dangerous driving should be given stronger and more consistent penalties, according to road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists has said. An IAM analysis of eleven recent prosecutions involving mobile and smartphone use revealed that the average sentence for causing death by dangerous driving is four-and-a-half years in prison and a disqualification from driving for seven years. In all of the cases analysed, the convicted drivers were found to have lost their concentration due to using their mobile phone.
