I think we’d prefer it if we were something we’re not sure of like the name, for example. So far we’ve had Jota and LP700-4 and this weekend we had Lamborghini Aventador, and we’ll probably get more before the Murci’s replacement arrives at Geneva 2011.
Range Rover Sport revised for 2012
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Range Rover has revised the Range Rover Sport for 2012 – and refinement is the name of the game. It has a new eight-speed auto ‘box and a host of toys including a new 17-speaker audio system and voice command. Land Rover may talk of a focus on reducing emissions, but ironically the supercharged 510bhp 5.0 petrol V8 remains unchanged.
2013 Range Rover Hybrid confirmed
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Jaguar Land Rover Director Hybrids and Electrification, Peter Richings, has confirmed the Range Rover hybrid will launch in 2013. From the new, entry-level 3.0 litre diesel Vogue to the 5.0 litre V8 Supercharged Range Rover Autobiography, all the new Range Rovers offer more performance, more off-road ability (or certainly easier off-road running thanks to the new automatic Terrain Response) together with lower emissions and improved economy. But although the new 3.0 litre TDV6 Range Rover will offer 196g/km emissions and manage 37.7 mpg there is going to be a new Range Rover Hybrid that cuts emissions to just 169g/km.
