The Hyundai Veloster Turbo that’s now arrived at the Detroit Auto Show – after a small leak of Veloster Turbo pictures this morning – may not be exactly the same as the Veloster Turbo we’ll get in the UK (more on that in a moment), but it’s close enough to give us a good idea of what the Turbo will add to the Veloster equation. Even if the VW board are yet to sign off on the Lamborghini Urus SUV, there’s almost zero chance it won’t make it in to production. With the 2013 Range Rover heading even more upmarket, the Bentley SUV heading for market in 2015 and endless super-SUVs from car customisers the super luxury SUV market is not one Lamborghini can afford to miss out on.
Suzuki Regina, Q-concept, Swift EV (2011) first pictures
Thu, 10 Nov 2011Suzuki is showing its vision for an aerodynamic city car at the 2011 Tokyo auto show: the regally named Regina. It's pitched as a radical 'next-generation global compact car', which sounds suspiciously as if it could have production intent. The new Suzuki Regina is all about minimalism: it weighs just 730kg, so it only requires a small capacity petrol engine, which brings emissions down to 70g/km and appetite for unleaded at a rate of 90mpg.
